6.1 Plan descriptions
Skoolari offers the following subscription tiers:
Current plan details, including any features or limits, are displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust plan pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
6.2 Billing and payment
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly subscriptions are charged each month, annual subscriptions are charged once per year. Payment is due at the start of each billing period. Accepted payment methods include GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfer for annual plans.
6.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder 7 days before annual renewal.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
6.5 Refund policy
6.6 Failed payments
If payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.
6.7 AI usage caps
Monthly AI usage caps (assessments and auto-grades) reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused capacity does not roll over to the next month.
Your use of Skoolari is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:
When using the AI grading features, your materials and student submissions are transmitted to our AI processing provider. By using these features, you confirm you have the right to submit this data for processing and that you have complied with any applicable institutional or legal requirements.
Each plan includes a storage quota for uploaded instructional materials:
Grade records, assessments, and gradebook data are never subject to storage limits — only uploaded files count toward your quota.
You will receive an email warning when you reach 80% of your storage quota. When your quota is full, you will be unable to upload new materials until you delete existing ones or upgrade your plan.
Inactive free accounts: Accounts with no login activity for 12 consecutive months will receive a warning email. If the account remains inactive for 18 months, it will be permanently deleted. Paid accounts are never auto-deleted while a subscription is active.
9.1 AI accuracy disclaimer
Skoolari uses AI to generate assessments and grade student work. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated assessments before distributing them to students, and for verifying AI-assigned grades before recording them as official marks. Skoolari does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific educational purpose.
9.2 Service availability
We strive to keep Skoolari available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party API outages (e.g., Google AI API unavailability).
9.3 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skoolari and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skoolari and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; (c) your use of the Service in violation of applicable law.
10.1 Termination by you
You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your folders, materials, assessments, and grade records will be erased. Export your data before deleting.
10.2 Termination by us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
In cases of clear violation, termination may be immediate without prior warning. In other cases, we will attempt to notify you before termination.
10.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Skoolari shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the appropriate courts of the Philippines.
You agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, after which the claim is permanently barred.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will:
Your continued use of Skoolari after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
