Upload Your Instructional Materials
Start by creating a subject folder — one for each subject you teach. Then drag and drop your instructional files into that folder. Skoolari accepts PDF textbooks, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, Excel sheets, plain text files, and even photos or scans of handouts.
- ✓ PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT, PNG, JPG and more
- ✓ Multiple files per folder — upload an entire unit at once
- ✓ Files are stored per subject so nothing gets mixed up
- ✓ Upload handwritten notes as images — the AI reads them too
Generate Your Assessment
Select the material you want to base the assessment on, then configure your settings. Choose the activity type (Quiz, Long Quiz, Exam, Exercise, or Assignment), difficulty level, number of items, and which question types to include. Hit Generate and the AI produces a complete, ready-to-use assessment in seconds.
- ✓ Multiple Choice, True/False, Short Answer, Fill in the Blank, Essay
- ✓ Difficulty: Easy, Average, Difficult, or Mixed
- ✓ Focus on a specific chapter or topic — or cover the full material
- ✓ Answer key generated automatically alongside every assessment
- ✓ Every question tagged with its source page or section for your review
Auto-Grade Student Submissions
After students complete the activity, upload their answers to Skoolari. You can photograph handwritten papers, upload scanned PDFs, or paste typed answers directly. The AI cross-references every response against the answer key and the original source material, producing a detailed grade report for each student.
- ✓ Works with handwritten papers — just take a photo
- ✓ Accepts scanned PDFs and digitally typed answers
- ✓ Item-by-item breakdown: CORRECT ✓ or INCORRECT ✗
- ✓ Shows the student's answer next to the correct answer
- ✓ Explains why each wrong answer is incorrect, citing the material
- ✓ Final score, percentage, letter grade, and written feedback
Track Grades & Compute Final Results
Every graded submission is automatically recorded in the subject gradebook. Once you've set up your custom grading system — defining components like Quizzes, Long Quizzes, Exams, and Projects with their percentage weights — Skoolari computes each student's final weighted grade automatically as you add more records.
- ✓ All activity records saved automatically — nothing to enter manually
- ✓ Custom grading weights per subject (e.g. Quizzes 30%, Exams 40%)
- ✓ Final grade computed and updated each time a new record is added
- ✓ View per-subject gradebook or all-subjects master gradebook
- ✓ Export activity records and final grades as CSV anytime
Share the Class Progress QR Code
Each subject folder has a unique Class Progress QR code. Post it on the board at the start of the semester, print it, or share the link in your class group chat. Students scan it anytime and enter their Student ID to privately view their own scores, grades, and feedback across all activities in that subject — no app needed.
- ✓ One QR per subject — covers all activities and grading periods
- ✓ Students see only their own results, identified by Student ID
- ✓ Works before grading ("Results not yet available") and after
- ✓ Per-test QR is also printed on every downloaded assessment
- ✓ Display on projector, post on bulletin board, or share as a link
- ✓ No student account or app installation required
